Energise Me 茶

The rooibos gives this a smooth, almost sweet base that keeps the mint from tasting like toothpaste. I switched to it for my afternoon cup since it's caffeine-free, and I don't get that wired-then-crash feeling. Certified organic and Fairtrade is a nice bonus too.

The mint hits first and then the rooibos smooths it out, which is exactly what I wanted for a caffeine-free afternoon cup. Nice to know it's Fairtrade and organic too, though honestly the flavor is what keeps me reaching for it.

I've been drinking this every afternoon instead of coffee and I actually stay awake through my 3pm slump. The rooibos gives it a rounder, sweeter base than plain mint tea, and I like that it's caffeine-free so it doesn't keep me up.
